Ingredients:

  • grated lemon peel
  • 500 g white flour
  • 400 g sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 125 g butter
  • 2 dl water
  • oil

Preparation:

Work the butter with the sugar to froth, add the lemon zest and then the flour. Afterwards add the water and the eggs one by one, working the mass with a spatula. On the floured board continue to work the dough and add more flour until the dough no longer sticks.

To cook, heat the oil in the fryer to 160 – 170 °C. Using two spoons, help yourself to portions of the dough and create tortelli. Fry the tortelli until golden brown.

After drying them lightly on absorbent paper, place them on a plate and dust them with icing sugar.
