Pizza and figs with cured ham, stracciatella and walnuts

Made with:
Green fig mostarda in a jar
Ingredients:

  • To taste: Sandro Vanini green fig mostarda purée
  • 300 g pizza dough
  • 100 g fiordilatte mozzarella
  • 3 tablespoons tomato passata
  • 100 g stracciatella di burrata
  • 3 green figs
  • 50 g cured ham
  • 20 g walnut halves
  • A few basil leaves
  • To taste: extra virgin olive oil

Preparation:
  • Roll out the pizza dough thinly, creating a border. Spread the tomato passata and season with salt and a drizzle of olive oil.
  • Now for the mozzarella: once well drained, cut into small cubes and add them to the pizza.
  • Bake at 230°C for 5–10 minutes; cooking time may vary depending on your oven and the thickness of the dough. Once perfectly golden, remove from the oven.
  • Top with washed and quartered green figs, the stracciatella, cured ham, roughly chopped walnuts, and a few basil leaves.
  • Serve with Sandro Vanini green fig mostarda purée, adding it to each slice before tasting for an extra burst of flavour! Enjoy your meal!
